I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the Ghostbusters movie, but it’s pretty much an idea I’ve had in my head for a while now.
It’s one of the best-reviewed films in years, and I’m all in.
But it’s not as if I was just sitting there wondering what could have been.
Ghostbusters writer/director Paul Feig has been writing his own scripts for nearly a decade now, and since the film’s release last December, he’s been putting them together to try and flesh out the characters, plot and world.
He also released a trailer in June that included a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage from the film.
This weekend, Feig shared some behind-camera footage of the film in a new featurette, which is set to be released this weekend on Netflix.
“The idea of a ghost story, it’s just an idea,” Feig told me.
“I’ve been in a lot of these films, I’ve been doing them all my life, so I’ve kind of had a long time to figure it out.”
Feig, who’s been involved in all kinds of movies and TV shows, told me that the idea for Ghostbusters came to him while he was working on the first season of Game of Thrones, which featured a lot more action and violence than the current Ghostbusters film.
Feig said that it was hard to figure out what the film would be about without actually seeing it, so he set about figuring it out.
Feigs own ideas for the movie have always been fairly simple, he said, and he didn’t want to try to reinvent the wheel.
“It’s the first Ghostbusters film, and that was a big focus for me,” Feigs said.
“There was a lot that was in there, but I didn’t really know where the story would go from there.
I asked Feig if there was one particular scene that inspired him. “
So there was no need to reinvent it, it just kind of worked itself out, and it was fun to do.”

The Ghostbusters movie was filmed in Montreal, Montreal, Quebec, and was directed by Paul Feige.
“They were like, okay, this is our own little version of this movie, so it’s totally our own, and they were like [gasping], oh my god, we just shot this movie. “
We had a very different experience there,” Feige explained.

And they didn’t know what we were doing.
They didn’t understand.
It was just so different, it wasn’t a typical studio movie.
They just wanted to see it.
And I was really happy to work with them because it’s one that I would be proud of.”
Feige went on to explain that the filmmakers wanted to keep the Ghostbusters story “within the world of the movie,” but he was also keen to expand the scope of the Ghostbusters universe.
“You know, the universe, the world is a little bigger than the movie is, and so that’s why you’re seeing the movies at all, because they have to go beyond the Ghostbusters world,” he said.
Feiger also revealed that he was approached by producer Paul Feisler about a third film that would feature an entirely different cast.
“Paul approached me and said, ‘Hey, we’re looking at doing this a little bit differently,'” Feig explained.
Feisberg, who also directed the first two Ghostbusters films, has been involved with all kinds, from the original films to his own films, including the upcoming The Purge franchise.
He’s been an executive producer on Ghostbusters and worked on some of the early drafts of the new movie.
“In that time Paul was working with all these great people, like John Cusack, who did the original film,” Feisig said.
