The writer and author Emily Rogers-Dunn is a writer and educator whose work has appeared in the New York Times, The Atlantic, Salon, and The New Yorker.
She has also written extensively on social justice, feminism, and other topics, and has been featured on The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show, and NPR’s Weekend Edition.
She’s the author of several books including, with Laura Kipnis, The Beautiful Struggle: A Woman’s Story, a memoir about her own struggles with mental illness.
Rogers-DeNunn also wrote the critically acclaimed short story collection Love and Loss, and her debut novel, I Will Survive, which was published in 2015 by W.W. Norton.
She lives in New York City with her husband, Jack, and their two children.
