The writers room in the writers room on campus is located on the ground floor of the Writers Union Building and features laptops for all stages of the creative process including editing, proofreading, proof reading for other authors and proofreading for clients.
The space is open from 11am-4pm on weekdays, but it’s usually closed on Saturdays.
It’s a place for writers to share and network with fellow writers, but the writers also get a chance to get together with other members of the community, meet new people and talk about what they’re working on and how to get it done.
There’s also a cafe, a cafe bar and a full bar area.
The writers’ room is an excellent way to get a break from the rigours of daily life and to recharge, as it’s free to use.
