A year ago, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige told the press that it was “just not possible” for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to continue as it is today, citing “unresolved creative conflicts” with the Marvel Studios Motion Picture Group and “the fact that we are still in the post-credits scene.”
That led to a lot of confusion, as there were various versions of the events of The Avengers as well as The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The film has now ended, and the studio has announced that The Avengers 3 will arrive on May 1st.
“We are not going to be releasing anything in advance of the film’s theatrical release,” the studio said in a statement.
“However, there will be some new content that will be released as part of the cinematic release.”
So there you have it.
The Wack-Up is still happening, and The Washing Machine still looms large.
So how can you get a sneak peek at what’s coming up in the upcoming sequel to The Avengers?
It starts on May 4th, and will be available for streaming and purchase on Amazon Prime Video starting May 5th.
